Requirements

Runs light. Installs clean.

Operating systemWindows 11 24H2 / 25H2 — Intel systems are the primary target, AMD secondary. Windows 10 22H2 supported best-effort. V1 prioritises depth over breadth.
InstallZero-prerequisite MSI — the .NET runtime it needs is bundled, nothing else to fetch. WebView2 (ships with Windows 11).
PrivilegesThe app runs as your user, unelevated. Sensor access lives in a dedicated Windows service, so a compromised window can never escalate to Administrator.
Signing & supply chainEvery release is EV code-signed with a published certificate fingerprint, and ships with a software bill of materials (SBOM).
Security contact[email protected] — 7-day acknowledgement, 90-day coordinated disclosure. See security.
UpdatesManual in V1 — Aikonic tells you an update exists; installing it is your decision.

Scope, stated plainly

V1 observes. Control configures.

We'd rather ship a smaller product that is entirely true than a bigger one that is partly guessed. Here is exactly where the line sits today.

V1.0 · 18 Aug 2026

Observation, done right

  • Live core telemetry and per-core load
  • Read-only fan RPM (tach-only, honest gaps)
  • SMART, benchmarks, dead-pixel test
  • Temperatures wherever the sensor can be read2
  • Rolling one-hour in-memory history
V1.1 · in development

The signed driver

  • Aikonic-attested kernel driver — reliable CPU and GPU temperatures everywhere
  • Fan control with a fail-to-auto safety model
  • Alerts and automation (Control)
  • CSV export and a local data API
  • Hardware error (WHEA) capture
Later

And beyond

  • Deeper tuning, carefully gated — starting with undervolting
  • Language packs, live memory timings, longer-term baselines, deeper diagnostics
  • Whatever we build next will follow the same rule: measured, or absent with a reason

1 Accuracy acceptance bar: within ±1 °C / ±2 % of the reference reading taken from the same sensor register on the same hardware. Where a value cannot meet this bar, the app shows an unavailable state with the reason rather than an estimate.

2 On Windows 11 24H2 and later, the kernel driver path most monitoring tools historically used is blocked by operating-system policy, so many machines will show CPU or GPU temperatures as unavailable in V1.0 — including when running as Administrator. Reliable temperatures everywhere arrive with Aikonic's own signed driver in V1.1. We consider telling you this before you download to be part of the product.

3 $39 is launch pricing. One-time payment, covering up to 3 seats; additional seats $19 each. The licence is perpetual and includes all future updates and major versions at no additional charge. Sold via Paddle as merchant of record, which handles VAT/GST.
