You can have a full refund of a purchase within 14 days of paying, for any reason. This holds after you have downloaded Aikonic and activated your licence key. Ask Paddle, using the link in your receipt or at paddle.net.
Control is not on sale yet, so there is nothing to refund today. This policy is published in advance so you can read it before you pay anything.
01Clarity is free
Clarity never asks for payment or card details, so no charge is made and no refund applies. This policy covers Control, the paid tier.
02Who sells it
Paid products are sold by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd and its affiliates), our Merchant of Record. Paddle is the seller: it takes payment, issues your receipt, and collects and remits any VAT or GST. Refunds are paid by Paddle, to your original payment method. Your bank may take a few days to show it.
03How to ask for a refund
Use the link in your Paddle receipt, or go to paddle.net and look up your order, within 14 days of paying. Paddle handles the request and refunds your original payment method. You do not have to give a reason.
04What a refund does
- A purchase. The licence keys from that purchase are revoked. Each machine learns of it at its next daily licence check. The paid features stop; Clarity keeps working.
- A chargeback. A payment reversed through your bank or card issuer is treated as a refund.
A machine that never connects cannot receive a revocation. After a refund, you must stop using the refunded product on every machine.
05After 14 days
After 14 days a purchase is not refundable. This does not affect your remedies under the law if the software does not conform to the contract: having it put right, a lower price, or ending the contract with a refund.
06Your statutory rights
The 14-day refund is in addition to your rights under the law and does not reduce them. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or the UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days. For digital content not supplied on a physical medium, that right ends once supply has begun, if you gave your prior express consent to supply starting within the 14 days, acknowledged that you would lose the right, and received confirmation of the contract. Swiss law gives no general right to withdraw from an online purchase. The 14-day refund above covers the same 14 days for any reason, so a full refund within 14 days is available either way.
07Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of Switzerland and read together with our Licence Agreement (§7.4). Nothing in it limits any mandatory consumer right available where you live.
