The CPU boost test says the service dropped the connection
Expected, nothing to fix
On a machine that the test loads fully, the app can stop waiting for the result before the service answers, and the check reports that as a dropped connection.
Why this happens
The boost test runs every core at full load for about 45 seconds, and the app waits a fixed time for the answer. On machines with few cores, virtual machines especially, the service may not answer inside that time. The service itself is still running: the checks after it get normal replies.
What to do
- Close other heavy programs and run the test again.
If that does not help
If it happens on a physical PC with four or more cores and nothing else running, email [email protected] with the System verification report attached.
