Drive health is unavailable for some drives

Expected, nothing to fix

Some drives did not return health data, usually because they sit behind a USB adapter that does not pass it through.

Why this happens

Health data (SMART) is read by asking the drive directly. Many USB enclosures and adapters do not forward that request, so those drives show as unavailable with the reason, while internal drives report normally.
