Fan control says the sensor service did not answer

The Fans page could not get fan control's state or fresh fan readings from the sensor service.
Why this happens
Fan control lives in the sensor service, so the page asks the service what each fan is doing. When the service stops answering for a few seconds, the page keeps the last readings, dimmed, and says what time they are from; with no readings yet, it shows nothing rather than a guess. If the service has stopped, every fan Aikonic was driving has gone back to the board's own control, and the page says so. If the service is running but not answering, the page says nothing about the fans.
What to do
- Wait a minute. If the service stopped unexpectedly, Windows starts it again after 30 seconds, and the readings come back on their own.
- If they do not, restart the computer; the service starts with Windows, and fan control with it.
