A fan temperature source says waiting for a fresh sample
Expected, nothing to fix
The sensor service has not published a new reading for a few seconds, so fan control holds that source until one arrives.
Why this happens
Fan control only steers by readings less than five seconds old. When the service is briefly busy, a source is marked as waiting, and it clears as soon as a fresh reading comes in, usually within seconds. If none arrives for longer, the affected fans go back to the board's own control.

If a source stays on waiting, email [email protected] with the hardware report attached (Settings, Data & exports, Export hardware report).
