The GPU produced rendering or memory errors under load

You can fix this

While under load, the graphics card drew pixels or returned memory contents that did not match what was expected.

Why this happens

The artifact scan and the VRAM test compare the card's output with a known answer. Mismatches come from an unstable overclock, including factory overclocks applied by vendor software, from a driver fault, or from failing video memory.

What to do

  1. Return any GPU overclock or undervolt to default, including one applied by the card maker's software, and run the test again.
  2. Install the current graphics driver from NVIDIA, AMD or Intel.
  3. If errors continue at default settings with a current driver, contact the card's maker or seller, as that can point to a hardware fault.
