The sensor service is stopped or missing
You can fix this
Aikonic reads your hardware through a Windows service called Aikonic Sensor Service, and the app could not reach it.
Why this happens
The app window and the service are separate programs. Without the service the app can still show what Windows reports directly, such as CPU usage and memory, but temperatures, clocks, fan speeds, drive health and most Tools checks need it. The Aikonic installer installs the service and starts it with Windows.
What to do
- Press Win + R, type services.msc and press Enter.
- Find Aikonic Sensor Service. If it is there but stopped, right-click it and choose Start.
- If it is not in the list, or it will not start, download the installer from aikonic.app/download and run it.
- Open Tools and run System verification again.
If that does not help
If the service starts and then stops again by itself, email [email protected] with the System verification report attached (Tools, System verification, Export report JSON).
