You can fix this

The sensor service was starting or stopping when the check tried to connect, so the check could not run.

Why this happens

Windows starts the service shortly after sign-in, and an update restarts it. A check that runs during those few seconds cannot connect. This says nothing about whether the service works.

What to do

  1. Wait a minute, then run System verification again.
